We Love NYC

Founder and principal guide, Kat Scaglione, has a passion for NYC. For her, it’s the greatest place on earth. She’s a 14-year resident and feels lucky every day to experience the history, culture, and snacks!
Before starting I’m Walkin’ Here Tours, she worked as an art & creative director in Mad Men-style advertising agencies.

Her history with the city goes back even further to her Irish immigrant ancestors coming through Ellis Island (her Grandfather was a shoe salesman in Herald Square). She’s married into an Italian immigrant family (also via Ellis Island) and now has a special appreciation for Italian-American cuisine.
